Maintain Sanitation as a Utilities System Apprentice

Having good drinking water is one of the most essential of all basic needs. The average person will only last for two days without any water to drink. This is because the body is composed of over 90% water. This is why in the United States Air Force, there is such importance placed on making sure that there is always good potable water which can be used. This helps to keep the airmen more than just alive, but healthy at the same time.

Collection and Distribution

There are many different points in the use of water which must be paid attention to in order to get the most out of the water which is used on base. These points include the times which the water is taken away from homes and facilities on the base. It is essential that the waste waters are being treated correctly so that they can either be disposed of or reused as drinking water through the right treatment processes.
